ASM – Agile Scrum Master Certification – EXIN

ASM – Agile Scrum Master certification is offered by EXIN. It involves a combination of methodologies, Scrum practices, and practical assignments. ASM Certification aims at practical application of Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices to test the capability to facilitate cross-functional teams. The exam tests both skills and knowledge of the Agile methodologies and Scrum framework which in turn tests the ability to function as a facilitator, coach and enable a highly cross-functional team.

ASM Subject Areas

Agile Way of Thinking(10%): Agile Concepts(5%), Continuously Improving the Process(2.5%), Other Agile Frameworks(2.5%)

Scrum Master Role(27.5%): Responsibilities and Commitment(10%), Coaching the Team and Mediating(10%), Other Roles (Product Owner, Development Team-7.5%)

Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control(32.5%): Writing and Maintaining the Product and Sprint Backlog(7.5%), Agile Planning(5%), Agile Estimation(10%), Tracking and Communicating Progress(7.5%), Staying in Control(2.5%)

Complex projects(12.5%): Scaling Agile Projects(5%), Suitability of Agile for Different Types of Projects(5%),  Agile Administration in Tooling and Tool Integration(2.5%)

Adopting Agile(17.5%): Introducing Agile(7.5%), Self-Organization(5%), Agile Requirements and Proper Environment(5%)

  • Requirements:Successfully Completed an EXIN Accredited Agile Scrum Master Training.
